SUMMARY:West Yorkshire: Ambitious about Clean Air
DESCRIPTION:Asthma + Lung UK support communities to demand clean air so that everybody\, but particularly those most vulnerable to air pollution\, can breathe cleaner air with healthy lungs. \nThis event will present the work of Asthma + Lung UK and showcase some examples of where health\, community and local authorities are working together to clean up the air. \nBy hosting this session we will bring together a range of stakeholders into a shared space of learning and creating connections. Hopefully you will leave the room feeling more confident that despite the economic climate\, we mustn’t lose sight of the health crisis that air pollution is and the impact it has on people’s lives everyday. \nWho should attend? \nIf you are passionate about clean air in West Yorkshire you should be there ! \n• Local clean air campaigners \n• Community groups \n• Healthcare professionals \n• People with lived experience of lung conditions including asthma \n• Local authorities \n• ICBs \n• MPs and local councillors
