Our team can support you and your organisation with local energy projects – from start to finish.

We have experience in designing and developing all kinds of energy excellence projects. Our Hub team can support with research, appraisals, feasibility studies, preparing business cases and identifying funding opportunities. We’re on hand to drive our region forward.

Our project support can best be provided to local energy schemes that meet the Hub’s aims and objectives.

Projects should:

Involve public and community-sector organisations
Align with the energy strategies of the Local Enterprise Partnerships in the region
Have the potential to be scalable and/or replicable, or to form part of a larger programme
Demonstrate clear benefits, such as emissions reduction, renewable energy generation, clean growth benefits and energy cost savings

Support is also available through Aura Innovation – a collection of academia, industry, NGOs and national local government organisations which can help identify opportunities to innovate in low-carbon energy across the UK.

Businesses and communities interested in becoming more environmentally friendly can join the Circular Yorkshire initiative to access helpful guides and learn more about successful projects.
