SUMMARY:Unlocking Net Zero finance: Local climate bonds
DESCRIPTION:Securing funding for local Net Zero projects can be challenging. Local Climate Bonds (LCBs) provide an innovative solution by allowing local authorities to raise money directly from citizen investors\, offering a viable alternative to traditional grants and public sector borrowing. \nJoin our free online event to learn how LCBs can power decarbonisation projects. SUMMARY:DSO - Energy Transformation with Purpose
DESCRIPTION:Energy Transformation with Purpose \nA ‘just transition’ is the fairest way to ensure that the benefits of climate action are shared widely while avoiding an unfair burden of costs on those least able to afford them. \nAt Electricity North West\, we believe more can be done to adapt business models to drive greater social benefits and inclusion from investments in networks and flexibility services. \nThis online event is designed to share these plans with our stakeholders and provide an opportunity to discuss these ideas and inform their creation and roll-out this year.
