This is your one-stop shop for all the funding programmes being delivered by the Hub across the North East and Yorkshire.

The NEY Net Zero Hub is currently taking applications for the Community Energy Fund.

As and when we launch new funding schemes they will be included on this page; please check back in future to keep up to date.

Other Opportunities

Zero Carbon Fund – The Zero Carbon Fund is a grants programme for projects helping UK schools decarbonise as part of Let’s Go Zero, the campaign uniting schools across the UK to work together to be zero carbon by 2030.

Our colleagues at the Midlands Net Zero Hub are working with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero to provide grants for heat network training – and the funding is open to heating engineers in the North East and Yorkshire.

Five approved training providers – including providers who run courses in Leeds and Hartlepool – can offer £500 towards eligible courses.

You’re eligible for the grant if all of the following are true:
– you’re a heating engineer or work in the heat networks area
– you’re based in England
– you, or the business you work for, have received less than £315,000 in government subsidies over the last 3 years

There may be additional requirements for some of the courses.
