We’ve commissioned the design, development, and deployment of a Regional Community Energy Visibility Mapping Tool.
This new tool will provide an interactive, map-based platform to help Local Authorities, community energy groups, and other stakeholders identify potential delivery partners based on geography, capability, and experience across the region.
Our ambition is simple: to strengthen partnerships and accelerate the growth of community energy across the North East and Yorkshire.
To ensure the tool delivers real value, we’re working with Energy Saving Trust to engage directly with organisations involved in community energy through a series of interviews, workshops, and an accompanying survey to help populate the map itself – and we’d love for you to get involved.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Share how they would use the tool in practice Provide feedback on proposed functionality and design Highlight current challenges and opportunities within the community energy sector Influence the development of a resource designed to support stronger regional collaboration
The insights gathered will directly inform the tool’s design and ensure it focuses on the areas where it can have the greatest impact.
