The Hub has developed a tool which helps local authorities and the wider public sector derisk and drive deployment of solar canopies in public carparks.
The free-to-use interactive tool supports organisations to scale solar generation, cut carbon emissions, and deliver clean energy infrastructure using a replicable, portfolio based approach which will enable:

• Economies of scale through portfolio development
• Use of concession models, PPAs, and low cost borrowing to reduce financial barriers
• At a glance feasibility analysis de risk early stage project development
• Stronger investment pipelines aligned with local energy ambitions.
