Women making homes better for people and planet

Join York Community Energy and hear three women’s good and bad stories of carrying out energy saving home upgrades. With varying levels of expertise – from retrofit professionals to an environmentally concerned mum – they have all made homes more comfortable, healthier and cheaper to run. Join us for the whole day or just one session.

This event is part of York International Women’s Week 2026 – delivered by and aimed at women but any adult is welcome. Event costs are covered by public funding.
