One of the key objectives of the Local Net Zero Hub network is to:

Support a national knowledge transfer programme to improve information sharing, training, and evaluation, and build networks and partnerships.

The Hubs act as a vehicle for co-ordinating intelligence and activity critical to powering local growth and meeting national energy targets by:

  • Sharing best practice to inspire and inform the next generation of local and community energy projects.
  • Advocating for our local authorities when engaging with policy makers and key stakeholders such as the energy transmission and distribution networks and the National Energy System Operator
  • Meeting regional knowledge gaps when they emerge

This section of the website sets out the ways in which we do this.
