Findings from an independent review into Net Zero careers support provision in the North East and Yorkshire will be presented online, hosted by the North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Hub, on Thursday June 11th at 11am.
The North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) Review was commissioned by the Local Net Zero Hub to identify:
- Issues and risks associated with regional Net Zero careers advice and gaps in activity to be filled.
- Areas of opportunity for improvement and expansion of current activity.
- Exemplary activity that can be replicated elsewhere.
Results of the review will be presented at the online event, alongside best practice case studies from the National Grid.
This will begin the conversation around how the Net Zero Hub can work more closely with Local and Combined Authorities and wider stakeholders to embed clean energy and Net Zero into skills and careers activities, such as through the work of the Office for Clean Energy Jobs.
