Structure

The Hub is a collaboration between six Local Enterprise Partnerships across the North East and Yorkshire.

It's members are:
  • Hull and East Yorkshire LEP
  • North East LEP
  • South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority
  • Tees Valley Combined Authority
  • West Yorkshire Combined Authority
  • York & North Yorkshire LEP

We work with our partner Combined Authorities and LEPs to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the region to influence and co-ordinate energy projects, as well as providing capacity support for those seeking advice, signposting or general information on Net Zero.

Each CA/LEP partner is represented on the Hub’s Board, which meets every two months to oversee Hub delivery, agree strategic priorities and make decisions on resource allocations.

The Hub is led by the Net Zero Hub Manager, who manages a small team of officers based within the host authority and leads the wider team that includes Hub-funded roles providing local capacity support employed within each of the partner LEPs or Combined Authorities.

The diagram to the left shows how the different elements of the Hub interact in delivering the Net Zero agenda across the region.
