What is the fund for?

The UK has set a target of 5GW of hydrogen production capacity by 2030, and an interim target has been set of 1GW by 2025. To assist this, a fund is being established to support blue and green hydrogen production. It will be a capital co-investment fund for new hydrogen production, expanded to replace the Low Carbon Hydrogen Production Fund.
