The Local Net Zero Hubs network will once again be key partners at two major local government energy conferences this spring.
The government funded and directed network offering support for local areas and the communities they serve in the development and delivery of clean energy and heat projects will once again be co-producing the APSE Big Energy Summit in Birmingham in February.
The annual event sees local authorities from across the UK gather to hear case studies of best practice decarbonisation and energy and heat generating projects in local government – with this year’s event featuring presentations from Newcastle, North Yorkshire, Sheffield, Redcar and Cleveland councils, as well as speeches from the North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Hub itself.
The same month the Local Net Zero Hubs will also be key partners at the national Green Finance UK event in Leeds.
Green Finance UK is designed to connect capital with local investment-ready opportunities in energy and heat – bringing together investors, businesses, policymakers, and regional leaders to explore how capital can be mobilised at scale to power growth across the country,
