The Local Net Zero Hubs have published a new guide to help local government respond to transitional Regional Energy Strategic Planning (tRESP).
Developed by the National Energy System Operator Regional Energy Strategic Plans (RESPs) will help ensure that local areas get the energy infrastructure they need to meet local net zero and growth ambitions, and help communities to access reliable, clean and affordable energy.
Aimed at local government officers working in areas such as energy, planning, building decarbonisation, economic development and transport, the guide is designed to help our partners understand:
- Why and how tRESP is important for their authority.
- The next steps and how to complete the current Request For Information.
- The support and resources available to help you complete the RFI.
